The Town
Situated where the two rivers, Saône and Doubs, meet, this small borough council town is almost like an island.

With its church presenting a rich artistic heritage, its many towers and striking house-frontages, Verdun offers a warm welcome to visitors.

The old town will raise your interest. A guide can be obtained at the tourist office to facilitate your visit and help you to discover its past and history.

The bridge Saint Jean: The actual bridge "Saint Jean" was built between 1803 and 1810 and replaced a draw bridge, mostly made of wood.
