It belongs to the group CECAB (agricultural cooperative centre from Brittany), a leader in the French market with its headquarters at Ciel, on the way to Dole. Its main activities are the transformation, the packaging and the manufacturing of non-labelled containers for the following vegetables: peas, carrots, beans, flageolets, young carrots, potatoes, mixed vegetables, salsifis, dried vegetables as well as dishes cooked with meat: sauerkraut, cassoulet, sausages, lentils, cocktail sausages, paté, baked beans.
Production: 17500 tonnes ˝ brutes (the unity is the tonne ˝ brute, each production is brought back in equivalent 4/4. One tin of 4/4 contains approximately 500g vegetables + 400g juice)
Turnover in 1999: 193 millions French francs.
Staff: 125 equivalent permanent including season workers.

ABCD has an important place in France in the egg-production market for catering outside home and for the food and pharmaceutical industries. The egg-factory proposes full eggs or just fresh whites or yolks, frozen, concentred, in powder, hard-boiled eggs in bars or without the shell, scrambled or prepared eggs, omelettes.... The yearly egg-products production is 7500 tonnes for a turnover of 56000 KF with about 20 people working there.
